Foster Garvey Raised Over $6,500 for Food Lifeline in 2024 Food Frenzy Campaign
The Foster Garvey Seattle office showed its community spirit through its participation in the Food Frenzy campaign, supporting Food Lifeline. We are thrilled to announce that we raised over $6,538 with the enthusiastic participation of more than 101 donors, surpassing last year’s contribution and number of donors.
Addressing Food Insecurity in Washington
This summer, nearly 500,000 children in Washington lost access to school-provided breakfasts and lunches, leaving many families struggling to replace these meals. Food Lifeline addresses this critical need by distributing food through 350 outlets, including food banks, shelters and meal programs. Our contributions help ensure these children and their families receive the support they need. Learn more about their organization here.
Throughout the month of July, the Seattle office organized a variety of engaging events to raise funds and awareness, including:
Direct Financial Contributions: Employees were encouraged to donate directly, providing critical financial support for Food Lifeline’s mission.
Lunch & Learn: An informative session that highlighted the issue of food insecurity and its effects on local families.
Ice Cream Cart: Staffed by our attorneys, this event brought some sweet relief and raised funds.
PTO Raffle: The firm-wide raffle raised $1,250, with contributions from all offices firm-wide.
Photo Contest: Employees submitted and voted on their favorite photos, adding a fun and competitive element to the campaign.
Non-Perishable Food Donations: In addition to financial contributions, employees donated non-perishable food items to further support Food Lifeline’s efforts.
We extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who participated, donated and helped coordinate these events.
Foster Garvey has a proud history of supporting Food Lifeline through the Food Frenzy campaign and looks forward to continuing this tradition. Every contribution matters and together, we make a significant impact on our community.
