Associates Julia Doherty and William Kenick led this year’s Associates Campaign, the Legal Foundation of Washington’s Campaign for Equal Justice to support 50 legal aid programs across Washington that help low-income families with immediate legal needs advocate for long-term systemic reforms to advance equal justice.

Foster Garvey Supports the Washington Park Arboretum
This summer, the Seattle office participated in a volunteer event organized by Project Coordinator Trevor Haefner at the Washington Park Arboretum. All volunteers (John Hoerster, Carol Hoerster, Kayla Nolan and Trevor Haefner) thoroughly enjoyed their time outside, reporting that connecting with the land, even removing weeds, was therapeutic.

Beginning in 2024, The Washington Joint Minority Mentorship Program (JMMP) law student and new lawyer mentees who completed its one-year mentorship program were named “Stone Scholars” in honor of Foster Garvey attorney Rafael Stone’s steadfast commitment to championing access to opportunity throughout the legal profession nationally, and especially in Washington state.
